A NOTE is a nail polish sticker brand for men who seek to break free from the constraints of social gender norms and start a journey of self-discovery and visual identity. The brand wishes to create a safe space for personal exploration, and even to connect a whole community of men that will build that same safe space in the global public sphere.
The visual language of the brand is all about balancing between soft & gentle and sturdy & protective, just like a safe space - physical or metaphorical. Like a kids' gymboree, this balance creates the ideal atmosphere to play and discover. The design flows between round and harsh lines, gentle and bold typography and uses imagery that can be calming yet mysterious.
The packaging uses a balance of soft, yet sturdy materials that create the feeling of safety and security. the pouch opens to a mat that creates a defined work space, directing the user to the experience and allows freedom to explore.
